  • It's nice, scenic and family friendly. But it does get pretty busy on weekends. It looks like city of Cedar Park is doing a good job of keeping up with it and making improvements too. There are some mountain bike trails that look like they could be pretty fun, and we saw a good number of people riding them. I use the hike and bike trails (on a road bike), and on weekends there are a lot of walkers. But if you're patient, most people are friendly and get along fine. And there bathrooms along the way, which is a very nice thing sometimes. If the area gets a good rain, there are large sections that will flood.
  • I often walk around this park when I walk through the Brushy Creek regional trail. The sunsets here are really pretty and the parking lot and toilets are well maintained. There are a lot of areas of shade and places to sit. It’s usually busy on the weekend because there are lots of sporting games and activities for children. In the spring time a lot of people come here to have photos taken in the bluebonnets. It makes a really pretty location for it. There is also a kayak rental place and plenty of parking.
