NewBo City Market is a nonprofit organization showcasing our community's assets, inspiration, and potential by cultivating new business and entrepreneurship and by supporting local artists and artisans. We are a public space promoting health, happiness, and well-being.

NewBo City Market is first and foremost a meeting place, a public space that provides the opportunity for people to encounter one another in an informal setting. A center for social interaction, the Market serves the dual purpose of generating traffic and providing a “town center” where people can meet, greet and, of course, eat.

Featuring a carefully crafted and eclectic mix of dining, shopping, entertainment and attractions in a unique warehouse setting, the City Market links visitors to a variety of wares from local growers, artists, artisans and businesses. Produce, specialty foods, meats and seafood, flowers, clothing and home accessories are offered. Music, art, cooking demonstrations and other events, combine with food from some of the areas best restaurants to provide a new and much needed destination for the area.

  • Wonderful incubator of small retail businesses. Many restaurants with tasty vegan and vegetarian options. Indoor and outdoor seating. Live entertainment in the park outside.

  • Pretty cool place. Repurposed Rust Belt building. Many stalls with a great selection on local small batch items. Rare Bird Soap is one of my favorite stops here. There is a bar here that serves wine and beer so you can get turnt while you shop. Nice bathrooms and plenty of parking. Close proximity to bars restaurants and other attractions of the neighborhood. One of the best things to happen to the city after the flood.
  • This market is a ton of fun when it is busy. I recommend a weekend. There might be live music and tons of cyclists. I went on an afternoon during the week and it was not popping. The food is good but the shops are not much to look at in my opinion, there are usually one or two good ones.
