  • Great experience. My boyfriend surprised me with a private tasting (which was actually us and one other couple) and we got to try 4 different wines and 4 different cheeses. The story was told of the winery by a member of the family who actually worked there. She was really nice and informative. The wines had a different taste than what I’ve tried at wineries in my area but I loved the tasting. We headed on downstairs afterwards and tried a few more wines. The rosé had a very unique flavor with its hint of bourbon. It is one unique winery. We got the impression from the website that it was an actual winery with the vineyard and hills in the back and it was not. It was sold here and is made somewhere else 2 hours away which is a little different. I expected it to be a vineyard as well. But, it did not disappoint. Each floor (3 total) had unique shops you could stop at. I found old candy, huge selection of teas, a store that was filled with amazing 20s items, clothing and fur coats, and there was other art shops, a Christmas store and more. The building itself is very beautiful and has a River and little waterfall behind it where you could sit and eat at the cafe. There are also other buildings on the mini campus that had food, cookies and one was a jewelry store. We spent over an hour and a half there. It was a nice experience. Cute town where all the buildings look like little cottages.
  • The winery was very cute, and the price was great for a wine tasting ($10 for five samples!). A lot of the wines we sampled were very very sweet and a little outside of our taste preferences.
