Chaddsford Winery is a Pennsylvania winery located in the Brandywine Valley, in Chadds Ford Township in Chester County. It was founded in 1982, and is one of the largest wineries in the state, producing more than 30,000 cases annually.

In 2012, Founder Eric Miller left the company and the winery sold off its vineyards. Though its focus shifted towards sweet wines at the same time, a small amount of dry wine is still produced.

The Chaddsford 2017 Cabernet Franc was selected as a finalist in the 2019 PA Sommelier Judgement Day awards.

  • Close to Philly but feels like you are in the country. Great place to meet with friends. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Worth the trip.  more »
  • Conveniently located in a historical area, so a great place to take a relaxing break with some wine.  more »
  • Nice place. We go there pretty often. The wine is okay but the food trucks, the live music, and people who work there are amazing. It’s in the middle of a busy suburb where you don’t expect a winery to be but you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the place. Highly recommend for a quiet Saturday or Sunday afternoon
  • Myself and my family started going here years ago and it has really grown. The atmosphere is great, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their wine is decent. The biggest draw for us was the Welove music events they often host. Unfortunately as they have gotten more popular, we have had to stop attending as we have an asthmatic and an infant, and they allow smoking on their premises at these events. This is important to keep mind if you have family members sensitive to smoke. Cigars and cigarettes are all over at many of these events and unfortunately as the winery has no policy regarding this (I did check with a staff member who asked the manager) there is no incentive for people to put them out even when politely asked because they are upwind or in the crowd etc. Really a shame as most places have no smoking, or designated smoking areas these days, and now we have to look for alternatives to these overall excellent events.
