The Champaign Public Library is a library system in Champaign, Illinois. It has two branches: the main library in downtown Champaign and its Douglass branch. With its new location opening on January 6, 2008, the Champaign Public Library almost tripled its square-footage and opened with a collection of almost 285,000 volumes.

  • We were visiting Champaign and someone suggested stopping by the library. It was close to our AB&B so we did. Libraries have changed: noise is permitted and it was fun to see children playing (mostly....  more »
  • This is where you'd want to take the kids to learn, explore reading, and meet new friends. The staff here are always willing to help you and they listen. Huge!  more »
  • Rent new release bluray and dvd for $2 a week, or request them free. Friends bookshop downstairs has gently used books and movies cheap. New release books rent $2 a week., or request for free.
  • Honestly this library is a wonderful place. I'm so happy it's near my house and how friendly it feels here
