Jane Addams Book Shop, Champaign

A wonderful used book store with a large and varied selection. From the outside the shop looks small but it has an upstairs as well. Rooms focused on various themes. I found several great business books and some hobby books. I encourage anyone who likes used bookstores to stop by. It has that used bookstore feeling and smell that gets an old guy like me ready to spend all day looking through titles.

This is what used bookstores should be like: the old book smell, three stories, creaky stairs, sizable sections for all conceivable topics, reading nooks. Delightful blend of old and new books. My kids found plenty to interest them in the sizable second floor loft dedicated to kids’ books. Religion section was adequate and an interesting blend of old and newer books, if a little light on commentaries and such.
