Veterans Oasis Park, Chandler

We didn’t know that Liberty Wildlife would be at Veteran’s Oasis Park on the day we visited. The group had Richie the Paragon Falcon and an gorgeous Great Horn Owl. We loved being able to see the birds up close and personal. The Visitor Center was open with their critters on display as well. There was also a beginner’s fishing class. We discovered much more about this park. There are good walking trails, ponds with lots of different birds and a lake you can fish in. If you want to picnic, there are areas for you to do that. Before leaving, take a stroll through the Memorial Park. You won’t be disappointed. If you’re there at sunset, you will see the display illuminated.

Beautiful park to go for a walk as they have a nice paved path around the stocked pond. There isalso a bunch of dirt trails and paths around, and throughout, the park that are quiet and you can see some wildlife. Great place for family photos too.
