Historic Rice Mill Reviews

We could not have asked for a better day for our wedding at the Rice Mill. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and speaks for itself. The space was set up perfectly and there were many options on how to be set up. We held our ceremony outside overlooking the water and the view was incredible. After the ceremony we moved inside for the cocktail hour and reception. Our guest raved about the food, especially the hors d'oeuvres. Eve, our coordinator, was wonderful. She was very helpful throughout the entire process. She was prompt and flexible. Our bartenders Becky and Eddie were also wonderful. A guest asked for iced tea, which they didn't have, and Eddie walked to the gas station next door to buy her some. We had our wedding on a Sunday in February and was very reasonable compared to other venues in Charleston. I definitely recommend the Rice Mill for any event!
I was a plus 1 for a wedding recently here as well as touring the grounds before for my own wedding. It was truly a wonderful experience and all of the staff was delightful. I had a hard time imagining the place coming together for a wedding, but I can honestly say that it was gorgeous. For my own wedding, we chose a destination wedding, but if you are considering a Charleston wedding I would highly recommend this place! At least coming from a guest that is.
