East Beach Farm was founded in 2003 and produced its first crop of East Beach Blonde Oysters in 2005.

Ninigret Pond is a separate body of water than Narragansett Bay, located within Block Island Sound, The Pond is shallow and fed with several freshwater streams, making a great environment to grow oysters.

East Beach Farms is a member of the Ocean State Shellfish Co-Operative.

  • Absolutely wonderful
  • Another Five Star day on East Beach. Great fishing day. Lots of activity for site-"sea"ers Plenty of parking still in spite of the crowd of vehicles...they're mostly on the beach. Caught site of a lone Seal near us close to shore. This is going to be a monthly trek for us this winter. Too wonderful to miss. Fresh air.
