Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Charlotte

First time. Great venue. Parked in Bank of America’s parking structure. Get the prepaid voucher and exchange it inside the theater for an exit pass. Speeds up leaving the show and parking. Allow yourself plenty of time to park and get to theatre. Seats are comfortable for a taller person. Great legroom. Best seats are 10 or more rows back from stage. Found that being too close was not optimal to enjoy the full stage production. My fault not theirs. Alcohol and snacks available. Prices are similar to other venues. Staff is great at getting you in, seated and out when done. Restrooms are a bit crowded at breaks but better than most facilities. Take the family and enjoy NY style productions at Southern prices.

We have attended many Broadway plays and productions over the last three years, and every experience is unique and wonderful (Cats, Lion King, Dear Evan Hanson, Hamilton, just to name a few). The theater itself is beautiful and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The concessions stand can get crowded however they staff is fast and efficient. I really appreciate that you can pay for parking quickly without having to pay the extremely high prices. Staff is always welcoming and helpful. It is nice to have the building connected with a catwalk to other restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend attending a performance here.
