Bojangles' Coliseum (originally Charlotte Coliseum and formerly Independence Arena and Cricket Arena) is an 8,600-seat multi-purpose arena located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is operated by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, which also oversees nearby Ovens Auditorium and the uptown Charlotte Convention Center. The naming-rights sponsor is the Bojangles restaurant chain. The building's signature domed roof is made of tin instead of steel or iron. The dome spans 332 feet in diameter and rises to 112 feet tall.

    This venue is the first venue I have been to that seem like no matter where you sit you will get a good view of the stage. In my 50 something years, this is by far the best one yet.  more »

    This coliseum is somewhat dated as a venue. The parking can get somewhat crowded getting in and out of after an event. The hallways are little bit crowded etc compared to something that was built recently. that all being said because it's a small arena there really aren't any bad seats in it. Even the cheap tickets have a good view.

    The event was top notch itself, speaker Priscilla Shirer and worship leader Anthony Evans was excellent! The Bojangles Coliseum was not prepared or properly equipped for an something of this magnitude. We were not able to get to the food because we could not tell where the line end or begin. Police patrolling the traffic was pretty bad. All I can offer is "Charlotte, NC you got to do better."
