  • This is the most unique outdoor center in the nation. 1300 acres, whitewater rafting, climbing walls, miles and miles of hiking/jogging/biking trails, kayaking, zip lining, rope courses, a pro shop...  more »
  • My son and I went to WWC for whitewater rafting. Great experience. This is the real deal even though man-made. Class 3-4 depending on which part of course.  more »

  • I was here for a short layover and loved walking around, watching the boats, and eating a good meal. It's nice there is so much space for you to hang out and just enjoy the atmosphere. I didn't partake in the paid activities but those looked fun, too. However, if you have been whitewater rafting in places like Colorado - this just won't compare. Still a great place to spend an afternoon!
  • Beautiful park! The artificial rapids are incredible! I had no idea that was possible. Great things to do if you're an outdoor aficionado. Wall climbing, rapids rafting or kayaking, pretty impressive zip lines, hiking, more. There's a very decent restaurant with a very respectable selection of beer and wine. One of the coolest things to do, if not the coolest around Charlotte, NC.
