Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is dedicated to preserving steam locomotives and passenger trains. Admire the antique engines displayed in the front of the museum as you wait for the train. Hop on a 9.7 km (6 mi) tour of the surrounding area in a vintage coach pulled by a steam engine. On the dinner train tour, you can enjoy a three-course meal while chugging through urban East Chattanooga. Visit the website to check the schedule and make tour reservations. The food was excellent and Daniel was an excellent server/host. We ate in a Pullman car and he gave us a great history lesson.

We got to the depot at 11:40 - plenty of time to park & get tickets for the Missionary Ridge Local 60 minute train ride (15 min. ride each way & 25 min. layover). Our tickets were $40 at the ticket...

We took the dinner train on Friday evening and had the best time. The staff was exceptional at their jobs, giving us the most fantastic experience. We had roast beef, mashed potatoes, and green beans as our chosen meal. The meat was tender and very delicious. The whole meal was awesome. Everything about the experience met our expectations and beyond. We will definitely be back again. The staff had great knowledge of the trains as well, giving us some great stories to share with our friends!

Exceptional Trip!!!! I took my 16 year-old daughter on this trip and we both enjoyed the trip so much! We had a Pullman Table and our server Daniel was great! My daughter accidentally knocked over a water on our table and Daniel had the table cloth and items in table replaced in no time. Loves getting the opportunity to explore the entire train. The food did not disappoint and was warm. Will definitely go back again.
