  I took my teenager camping here over a fall weekend. The park is about 40 minutes from First Landing State Park, about 30 minutes from the VA Beach boardwalk, and a little over an hour from Duck...  more »

  I went their to play disc golf, online they stated they have a 'pro shop' not many decent discs available for sale. The course itself was very wooded and the maps were not great but overall it was a.....  more »

  This year, well pretty much all the years that I have attended, the weather was perfect and the vendors... all the rage!This year I was able to canoe with friends... scary, but luckily one of the riders were experienced so I was at ease! But it was so much fun!!

  Beside a long Drive..... it was worth the Trip.park open from 0700- Sunset. There is a quite a few Nature Hiking trails, appx. a 6 Mile hike to the Northwest River itself. There is a very large pond that you can fish for freshwater Trout. ( need a Trout fishing license). Also quite a few smaller ponds with Bass n Bluegills in them. They have 4 large Parking lots. Several Picnic tables with BBQ grills. Clean Restrooms through the Picnic areas. Paddle boats, n canoes. To rent.
