  • This is a beautiful, well-maintained, nature-lover's park. No, it is not super "fancy," but it is a great place to enjoy so many lovely trails and scenic views. Several trails are dedicated to walkers only, while others are made for cyclists or horseback riding. The trails are varied and provide chances to view Virginia's forests across all four seasons. There are two small playgrounds that are a hit after hitting the trails, and my children love the paddle boats in the summer. Summer also brings the chance for movies under the stars and their summer concert series, which is great fun for a family for young kids who need to "get up and move" rather than sit through a musical event still and quiet. We are very grateful to have this park and for all the conservation work that they do here. Well worth the price of admission.
  • Just an amazing place. We experienced miles of great singletrack today. Trails for all skill levels are available and well marked. We happened to go through the RV / camping area. Really nice facilities. They even have Yurts! Who knew?
