  • Their collections are very extensive and thorough. Lots of stuff is user interactive. The historical timeline is fascinating. Nice quiet place to visit along the bustle of Michigan Avenue.

  • Somehow I got lucky enough to visit during the inaugural American Writer's Festival. The exhibits were informative, interactive, and overall a wonderful exhibit. They had several speakers throughout the day in-person and online streaming their presentations or live Q&A. I'm not sure if this is normally the case, but while I was there they had the festival split in two museums, the American Writers Museum and Design Museum of Chicago, so you got to enter both for free. Overall had a fun time and highly recommend to my fellow bookworms.
  • This place brought so many memories, so many emotions!! Loved every single detail. The Word waterfall, the exhibition of the day. There is so much to do and it is a very interactive visit. My only negative issue was that I had a hard time finding it since there are no proper signs outside and this is in a second floor of what looks like an appartment building. I enjoyed every minute spent.
