Chicago Children's Museum Reviews
We went to celebrate my four year old grandsons birthday. Great hands on fun. He was exhausted by time we left. There were a few things we felt we would let him experience when he was older. more »
We visited the museum on a Thursday night to play late (4-8). The value was amazing, $20 for a family of four verses the regular admission price of $19/per person. My 7 year old enjoyed all the... more »
Now there were a ton of kids everywhere. It was definitely the busiest but it had SO much to do. I love that they aren’t trying to control the mess and just let kids play. All of the sections are closed off from the museum as a whole and toys from each section just stay in that section. Kids are playing EVERYWHERE and things are all over but they are having a blast playing at the level they are able to. Plus the place is huge. I wish we had been in Chicago long enough to go back a second day.
Lots of fun for the little ones. My wife and I took our 4 year old son and he had a blast. There is plenty to do. The activities and exhibits can certainly keep a young one occupied for many hours. The pricing was fair especially considering it's in Navy Pier. There are activities that the whole family can participate in. They also host various events/workshops at different times of the day. My son had a blast. He fell asleep for a hard long nap on our way home. You your little ones will not he disappointed. I would plan to spend at least 2 to 3hours in the museum to get the most out of it but you could probably spend an entire day in there.
