The Personal Table Taps -

Public House is home to one of the most extensive and impressive beer lists in Chicago. With over 100 beer selections and featuring the renowned Table Tap Technology which has been exclusively available at Bull & Bear, 12 types of beer and liquor are available on tap. A third table tap allows guests to pour chilled spirits of choice. Beer virtually pumps through the veins of the space with the introduction of "The Walltender" a chic, self serve tap system with beer always at the ready.

Design & Amenities -

Public House features an unprecedented selection of multi-media capabilities including a concert quality sound system allowing for live in-house performances any night of the week. A floor level DJ booth, stage, public address and wireless microphone are available for no additional charge. With 27 plasma TVs and an HD video wall, Public House is fully equipped to accommodate presentations of any kind.

Warm design touches, such as hand carved crown molding, rustic custom light fixtures and fireplace seating, Public House promises to help Chicagoans say goodbye to the night club and hello to the "night pub."

When it comes to fabulous fare, Public House thrills your taste buds with a menu comprised of American smoke-house favorites with tantalizing twists including beer-infused dishes, housemade sauces and rubs, flights & bites, food & beer pairings and superb desserts.

Execute Chef Jeremy Tannehill's BBQ philosophy utilizes a fine dining approach to a simple style of cooking. Just like the top smokehouses in the country, Public House uses Southern Pride smokers on all meats such as Kobe Beer Brisket, Smithfield St. Louis ribs and Wisconsin Amish Chicken.

  • We have been waiting to go to Public House for a while! Our schedules never allowed and it just never worked out. We went on Friday night and it was definitely worth the wait!!!! We had reservations.....  more »

  • This is a super popular spot in River North. Large but always crowded... And a great place to watch a game or grab some beers. Service was great and the industrial/pub fusion decor is cool.
  • We stopped by the Public House after seeing it on TV. I had the Smoked Pulled Chicken Mac & Cheese, my wife had the Smoked turkey sandwich with sweet potato tots. For dessert I had the vanilla stout cake shake! My only complaint was there was a bone or two in the pulled chicken. The shake was excellent!
