Take a look at Chicago from the top of Skydeck Chicago - Willis Tower, the second tallest building in the country. Still called "Sears Tower" by most locals, the 108-story building looms over the city with a height of 442 m (1,451 ft). One of the world's tallest freestanding structures, the skyscraper features an observation deck on the 103rd floor. The popular skydeck is 412 m (1,353 ft) high, offering unobstructed views of Chicago and its sprawling suburbs. On clear days, the vista stretches far over the Illinois plains and across Lake Michigan, all the way to Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan. • We absolutely loved going up to the Skydeck! Everyone was so friendly and made it easy to find where we needed to go. The views can't be beat. We were lucky to come on a partly cloudy day so we had great visibility. Fernanda helped us when we were up on the Skydeck and she was amazing! They also have great restaurant options in the lobby in case you're hungry! Definitely a must visit when coming to Chicago!
  • Very cool experience, the ledge is impressive and scary. I had to sit on the floor and enter backwards because it is very impressive to just walk in, and I'm not afraid of heights. The views are excellent. It's kind of a booth and you get seconds there. It was 60 seconds for 2 people or less and 120 seconds for more than 2 people. So if you are a family of 10 you'll have a hard time taking the pictures, consider purchasing the tickets separately to have time to appreciate the view and have time to take pictures and make the line separately once up there. Although it's small, you can still have people on the corners(that's how we did it to make sure everyone got their pic). You don't have time to simply look down and admire the Chicago beauty, it's everything very fast. Wait line was almost an hour. A lot of people wearing face masks, some not. Not required by what I remember. I went on 8/8.
