United Center, Chicago
The largest arena in the country based on its physical size, United Center serves as the home of two of Chicago's most-beloved sports franchises, the National Basketball Association Bulls and the National Hockey League Blackhawks. Take a picture with the Michael Jordan statue on the east side of the arena and with statues of various Blackhawks players around the perimeter of the 89,000 sq m (960,000 sq ft) complex. Beyond basketball and hockey games, the area hosts numerous special events, such as concerts, throughout the year. Be prepared to pay for parking and allow extra time to walk to the arena. If you want to take a cab after an event, try walking away from the complex to flag one down. United Center Reviews
Not only a great place to watch a basketball or hockey game, it's probably one of the best areanas in Chicago for a concert. The acoustics are much better than AllState in Rosemont. Prices are ridicul... more »
The United Center is one of the best venues in Chicago for large-scale concerts and Chicago sports - you'll be able to see the Bulls and the Blackhawks play here. As a Chicago native, I have seen a va... more »
Our group had an amazing experience at the United center! We arrived about 45 minutes before game time and we parked in the stadium parking lot for a cost of $23. Parking lots are in close proximity to the stadium so the walk was minimal. We went to watch a Hawks game and found the stadium to be very clean and well maintained. The seats are comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms are very clean and consistently cleaned throughout the event. Concessions are well laid out and available within a short walk from any section entrance. Food here is what you would expect at a stadium.... mediocre and Expensive! All and all, this is a great venue for sports and concerts! Stadium seating is laid out well enough so everyone can enjoy the game!
Mj's house. It is extremely easy to go from one side to the other, from the outside as well as the inside. The seats I tried were extremely comfortable, and the view was decent to good from the 300. Of course the 200 and 100 are very nice. I would probably avoid below the 100 section behind the hoops However. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. Easy on going. Really like the interactions. The constant presence of Police in and around the stadium made it feels very safe. Parking around is affordable ($20/25). One complain is the lack of real interesting place to grab food or drink around: The choice is sparse. Most definitely a great place to experience a NBA or NCAA game.
