  • I am a lifelong Chicagoan. Our guide, Johnny Rocco rocks! From Johnny's opening all the way to the end, he gave a quintessential look at Chicago's Capone era in a very Chicagoesque personality. His...  more »

  • This is a great tour with lots of personality. We had an excellent tour guide that was non-stop fun with corny jokes and lots of great history of gangsters. Pretty easy to find the pickup spot close to the McDonalds. We boarded and the tour was on. Our guide stayed in character and kept us laughing the entire time. I really enjoyed it. You are inside the bus in AC at all times so this was pretty good for what I was looking for. I really liked the tour, would have given 5 stars if I could see out the window without needing glasses due to the wrap on the windows... seriously who thought that was a good idea for a tour bus? As I've seen posted elsewhere, the buss has some wrap on it that basically makes you feel like you need glasses. You can see the the outline of things but no detail. That's the only downside. If you already need glasses maybe this isn't the tour for you. Seriously get rid of the wrap on the windows.
  • The tour was OK. It's a drive around a bunch neighborhoods throughout Chicago. The story telling by the actor was pretty entertaining. Chicago definitely has a history that, when animated, is captivating. One of the most frustrating things about the tour is the bus wrap. As you can see in the photo, you're looking out a fine mesh for the whole ride. It's REALLY difficult to see out the windows, even on a sunny day. My advice to the tour company is to totally reconsider the window wraps. It takes so much away from the experience of seeing the different points of interest.
