  • Last time I visited was over 10 years ago and what a change! This place has grown and improved ten-fold. The first hangar holds the aircraft from the 1900s till late 1940s, the second is a gem full of cold war jets restored to excellent condition (and not all USAF/USN, there was an RAF Harrier and Taiwanese Freedom Fighter) plus some Vietnam era a/c and a smattering of other types including a couple of nice Grumman amphibians. Next one is taken into the restoration hangar, which is a full working environment. Outside the hangars are the a/c that are probably next in line for restoration and then beyond that is the bone yard so reminiscent of the storage areas around Tuscon some 30 years ago.
  • Beautiful aircrafts on display and I am glad and grateful that I got to visit this museum along with my family. Thankful for the men and women in the armed forces that make it possible for us to enjoy these things. Special thanks to Jim, friends and family that have served and will forever have our respect. Such thrill to be standing next to some of these birds. Great place to come with the family.
