  • We stopped in for a nice picnic. Pretty little place. There is a small picnic area, restrooms. Pretty waterfall. Just off the Edgerton Highway.  more »
  • The state park is nice, with a beautiful waterfall and you can see the national park from a distance. There supposedly is a trail up to the meadows, but the map is confusing. Later I learned that the actual trail is not in the recreation site, but 100 yards before it. I did walk a bit around there, but clearly not far enough. There are picnic tables and plateau where you can set up things.
  • Nice dry site with nice waterfall. It's a little hidden in the forest and this makes it a little dark. Fee 20$ is OK. 2 outhouses were clean. We enjoyed the fall and it's pools to refresh after a long drive from matanuska Valley. We made a campfire ind the fire pit to get rid of the friendly mosquitoes, which worked only a little bit. 😜
