Attend a free concert, admire the centrally located fountain, and gaze at the giant LED screen at Fountain Square. The center of the city’s civic, social, and commercial life, the square features water jets spouting from the floor that kids can run through, restaurants and pubs, plenty of tables and chairs, and an ice rink in the winter,. The 13 m (43 ft) bronze fountain in the middle of the square displays four figures representing the four principal uses of water--steam, water-power, navigation, and fisheries--around one central figure. If you need refreshment, lap up spouts of fresh water--the piece was designed as a drinking fountain. Park your car in the garage under the square for a fee, or lock your bike to the complimentary bicycle racks in the square. • This is a nice area. The fountain is beautiful and at night too. There was a band there tonight. There are restrooms and food there too.

  • Lots of great events and you can't beat the prices! The event planners should be commended. The bar is reasonably priced as well.

  • We enjoyed ourselves very much. Only issue was it was hard to locate the check in areas as well as the hot chocolate beverage area. With so many people walking around, it would have been helpful to see enlarged high mounted signs describing the different stations. Overall very fun. Will do it again
  • We had a really fun time the team explained and made announcements on when our session started and ended. We were notified and aware of how our session was going to go by staffing. There was a problem with the hot chocolate machine at both concession stands which was promptly fixed and the ladies working the stand was very nice and very apologetic about the hot chocolate machine malfunction but again the situation was fixed very promptly. Will visit again.
