  • This is a great place to visit for a self-guided tour. The home has been restored and furnished with limited knowledge of the original layout and furnishings but is still full of interesting antiques (white wicker children’s training chamber pot, gas lamp extension cord), and family heirlooms and keepsakes. The visitors center also has an AMAZING animatronic presentation.
  • Nice Presidential Museum. Watch the short video before checking out the former Taft home, with the interesting artifacts and helpful content. Rangers were helpful and pleasant. Always great to learn about our Presidents. We could sure use some more unity and mutual respect these days. Have fun!
