  • Great experience! Learned a great deal. Very knowledgeable rangers. The house is the major attraction and it is filled with great information, artifacts and has been very well maintained. It's self guided so go at your own pace. Light traffic and no need to hurry. Parking is limited but available - especially on street parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Hidden gem!
  • We really enjoyed our visit when we stopped by to tour the house. The film was very informative and we really enjoyed walking around his family home. They had a few Christmas decorations up to show what it might be like for them. The park rangers were the best. They answered all our questions despite it being a self guided tour. The Junior Ranger workbook was a lot of fun to do with our son.
