  • I loved this place. It’s a hidden gem among the So Cal places to visit. It’s beautiful and very relaxing. Handicap parking and access makes everything so much easier. Definitely recommend you to visit.
  • This botanical garden is all California native plants. I recall first visiting in the mid-1990s, and how lush it has become! On Father's day, dad's entered for free, thank you for that! Lots of great things in bloom, the very large toyon were in flower as were columbine, bush sunflower, a big patch of CA poppies and more. The sun burned off the fog when we got to the butterfly enclosure, native to the area with their food plants, so they were active. For those disappointed that you need to pay to enjoy a botanical garden, please realize that maintenance, upkeep, staff payrolls, seed collection and propagation are not free! This garden has very low entrance fees as well. I'm happy to support gardens.
