Xavier Roberts converted an old clinic into a facility from which to sell his dolls, originally called "Little People." It is presented as a birthing, nursery, and adoption center for premium Cabbage Patch Kids. Although the fad surrounding the dolls has largely died down, it is still heavily trafficked by diehard fans and curiosity seekers.New locationThe Babyland General Hospital looked to move into a new $2.5 million location in either Helen or Cleveland as revealed in the White County News Telegraph. Cleveland was decided on as the new site and it opened in the spring of 2009.Plan to visit BabyLand General Hospital during your Cleveland vacation using our convenient Cleveland travel route planner.
BabyLand General Hospital Reviews
Santa gave our young daughters “Preemies” in 1984 because we were living in Northern British Columbia and did not have any other options. I have always wanted to see where our first “Grandkids” were..... more »
We Love this place!! I'm in my 30s and and feel like a little girl still every time I go! Lots of parking. Very clean bathrooms and even better everything is stroller/handicapped accessible. Lots of History about it when you enter. There is a party room you can rent. For a very reasonable price. Pictures of it below. There are Beanie toys. Small, medium and large Cabbage patch dolls to purchase. Only thing I have found is that the clothes/accessories for sale mostly only fit the medium size dolls. There are strollers. Pacifiers. Diapers. High chairs. Bottles. Toys. Dolls for purchase. And more. The Large Cabbage Patch Dolls come with a birth certificate. You pick the date and name. So fun! Make sure you stay for the Birthing Tree experience. You will find it hard to say no to your child when they are smiling so big. U have been warned ;)
Super fun place to visit with my family! This was an add on destination to a trip we planned to the mountains and I am sure glad we went. It was free to get in and really kind of a museum/store wrapped into one. Great brand history and very fun stuff to look at with the girls. We had a great time and recommend this stop if you have children.
