  • We have a membership to the zoo and it is so worth it. The membership pays for itself after only a few visits and the perks are nice. I've been visiting since I was a kid and it only gets better as they add more exhibits, animals, attractions and events. The keepers and volunteers are helpful, friendly and always give information when asked. I appreciate how well the animals are cared for. The food in the rainforest cafe is well-priced. The restrooms are clean. They now have a room for nursing mothers who want privacy. There has been a smoking ban in the zoo for years. Tram service is so convenient, as well as the stroller rental. The exhibits are safe for both people and animals. But can we bring back the hippos, warthogs and cassowary?!
  • Great zoo! More options in the summer with the play areas, theatres and food but great to experience year round. You can also bring your own food and make sure if you have toddlers to take your own stroller to save money.
