  • My family really enjoyed our time at the Natural History Museum. My favorite part was the mining area! It was really neat to see what different elements look like. I also enjoyed seeing all of the animals. The reason why this is a 4 star and not a 5 is due to the layout of the museum. It was not very intuitive and we had to do a lot of backtracking in order to make sure that we didn’t miss any of the exhibits. I’m hoping when the new museum opens that it will have a better layout. All in all though, it was a great experience and I look forward to returning! The most fun thing I learned is that the T-Rex was actually just a big chicken! 🦖 = 🐓 (refer to photos!) PS: the gift shop here is amazing and benefits ongoing programs at the museum!
  • Something for everyone to enjoy. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Nice presentation of snapping turtle. Good displays of artifacts. Outdoor area is a must to see. Animals all looked healthy, well cared for in their environments. Handicapped accessibility for at least 99% of visitor areas. Attached parking garage is conveniently located. Looking forward to returning when construction is finished!
