  • Such an enjoyable place. I've been to many zoos across the US and even though this is a smaller zoo than the major cities, I was so impressed with the variety of animals. I've seen the big animals at every other zoo so I don't always get that excited for them but what Niabi has, besides some big animals, are many small animals I've never seen in person and a few I've never even heard of. The large animals they do have were easy to view. The giraffe feeding encounter was amazing. The grounds were well maintained and had peaceful surroundings. It was large enough to keep us busy for almost the whole day but not so big we had to rush or couldn't see everything. I thought the prices were very reasonable compared to many other zoos I've been to. And the staff was so friendly and relaxed.
  • Great smaller zoo. We were able to see everything without it taking from dawn until dusk. Kids loved the play area just inside the entrance. One minus: Wish the train and carousel were included with admission. One plus: It is nice to have some zoo personnel telling you about the exhibits.
