Antilles Trading Company Maritime Pirate Museum and Store, Cocoa

While I agree that the museum and shop is fantastic, they also have a really neat room full of unique antiques and oddities, and another that has old paintings and figurehead. They really have something for everyone here and I strongly recommend paying them a visit!

This is one of the most amazing collections of authentic antique historic Pirate artifacts ANYWHERE I have seen. The researched background of the items and by extension the understanding of what life was like on a Pirate Ship is unmatched. I have been a Pirate re-inactor for almost 20 years...I've been fascinated with Pirates since I was a child...yet Jacqueline revealed more intimate knowledge of the daily life of pirates by walking me through their museum than I THOUGHT I ever knew. Real documents, ship manifests, bedding, utensils, medical tools and tons of other daily use items that reveal SO MUCH...combine that with a few animatronic displays and some FUN showmanship...and this place is a must visit for ANY Pirate enthusiast that visits the state of FLORIDA. LAST but not LEAST, the trading store has great gear and special items not available elsewhere. I highly recommend Antilles Trading Company
