The Porcher House, Cocoa

Beautiful historic home in Cocoa Village. Was here to officiate a wedding and when I arrived, the DJ had been here for an hour trying to find where to plug in for power. The house was supposed to be open in case it rained to move the ceremony inside but it was locked and no one in sight. No number to call to figure out what to do or anything. Luckily we called the number on the commercial building next door and were able to meet a park maintenance worker who allowed us access to the power plug inside the building next door so we could proceed. I appreciate that so much! The bride and groom weren't very amused with having paid $400 for a pretty front lawn though...

My son's friend was married there last Saturday. It's a beautiful spot for any occasion and especially perfect for a wedding. Just don't park across the street from it because they will tow you even on a weekend.
