Great fishing and tons of hiking trails. Scenic and normally peaceful it can get a bit crowded at the start of fishing season and opening day is always a big event for many at this park. Salmon River State Forest is on both sides of Rt. 16 . The covered bridge is highly photographed.
What a great walk! We really enjoyed the old foundations and the plethora of bugs and bushes.
