Pleasant ferry ride from Beacon, about 15 minutes each way. The crew did a narrative on the history of the area, a nice addition which I wasn't expecting. Very informative. Once at the Island, there were several flights of stairs to climb. We walked the island in it's entirety, the paths meandered up, down & around. Beautiful views in all directions & lovely plantings. Of course I enjoyed seeing the remains of this once magnificent castle.

What a great day on Bannerman Island. Started off with the boat on a lovely day. Smooth and safe trip to and from the island. The island itself was fascinating with a great tour. Interacting facts and a great walk through the island. Thank you to everyone who made this day interesting, historical, and all around a wonderful day! Very highly recommended!
