  • A truly unforgettable place! Bring the kids, learn about farming, view old tools and garden plants, or go to one of their summer events...like pressing apple cider with an old fashioned hand press.

  • Though the buildings are run down, what's in them is well worth seeing. Propaganda flyer from the Spanish American War, advertisings and clippings neatly displayed and well worth reading (don't miss.....  more

  • Beautiful property both people were wonderful . Took us through the home and barn and knew there stuff . Interaction with our children as well which was great 😃👍
  • I love the Poore Farm Museum, it is like stepping back in time! It isnt like other museums, it is as if the owner just stepped away for a minute and you are visiting. If you really want to see what life in the North Country was like in the 1800's dont miss it. If you are a reenactor or interested in the Civil War there are letters and artifacts. Right down the vintage cereal boxes! In the Barn there is a big rug loom that is 200 years old that is still in use, and displays of needlework the women on the farm did. In the house you can see alot of dressed and clothing spanning 200 years. Nice trails to walk with family as well.
