This is one of four state-owned farmers markets owned and operated by the NCDA&CS. The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market is open year round, and is host to 1.7 million guests annually. The atmosphere here at the Market is just like being "down on the farm." You can purchase directly from the grower.

Market Shoppes open year round. Moose Cafe open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. A.B. Seed Garden Center is also on site and open 7 days a week.

  We love to look for plants, vegetables and fruit which are not found near the RTP area. We have found concord grapes, mountain grown apples, and flats of vegetable seedlings for planting. We love...  more »

  Great! Big, nice variety, great produce! Fairly priced, and a few food trucks on site to get a little treat. I really only go there for the produce, garden flowers, and unique things like pickled asparagus! Delicious! I like that some of the vendors will give samples too. Mostly cards, only a few only accept cash. Dogs permitted outside of the selling areas. Restaurant on site as well. We never get through the whole thing. Pottery and AB Seed store are always on our list, but the last thing we get to and we're either out of money or too tired haha.

  Fresh outdoors settings, wide variety of seasonal vegetables and assorted items. Prices vary by station, but overall affordable. Quality and quantity varies between seller's. Most people are courteous and knowledgeable about the products they are selling.
