We camped here in the Raptor Glen campground which is the highest campground in the park. The views of the city and military bases is fantastic. Our site was clean, with a concrete pad, fire ring...

Very nice campground with beautiful views from most sites of Cheyenne Mountain. Full hookups and most sites have plenty of space between them. There is a $9.00 fee per day over and above the cost...

We've stayed at many beautiful Colorado State Park campgrounds and this one might be the crown jewel. Campsites are spacious and well separated. Situated on the east side of Cheyenne Mountain, many sites have spectacular views out over Fort Carson to the plains. Book early (6-mos) for spring-summer-fall. It's usually full for five months straight.

Great, well marked hiking and biking trails. Really nice and clean facilities. Camping is not shady or protected. Good for RVs but not tent camping. Also has great programs for kids and families.
