  • Amazing place and in a super relaxing location. The displays are incredible and terrifying at the same time. The kids loved it as much as I loved it 40 years ago when I first went. It's deceivingly huge inside. Watch out for LIVE wildlife outside and on the drive up there. Highly recommended any day of the week, and if you get a chance, stay at the campground on site. Combined with guessing which animals you are hearing at night outside, the clear, dark Colorado night skies will absolutely floor you!!! The friendly staff are warm, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable beyond belief. Don't miss it when you are in town!
  • My nephew loves bugs and learning so we go every summer! It's cheap and I could spend all day looking at all the different bugs! I also love that it's family owned and how they have a little movie on their back story! It's surrounded by beautiful nature, so we pack a lunch and hike and eat at the picnic tables. It's a great place, I hope it doesn't go anywhere.
