  • This is a free museum run by volunteers in the heart of Old Colorado City. It's worth going in at least once to check out and read up on some of the history of Colorado Springs. I learned a lot including how railroad workers used to slide down the Cog Railway on their butts to get home faster, a method that lead to some interesting innovations (and injuries). They take donations but it's not required.
  • Very interesting display of the history of the beginnings of Colorado as a territory and state. Great collection or artifacts. Then walking the historic streets. Good restaurants near by.
