Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site is a living history museum (sometimes called an open-air museum) and farm located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Restored buildings and period-appropriate attired museum guides depict life in the Pikes Peak region in four time periods and in four different households: American Indian life in 1775; an 1860s cabin (Galloway Homestead); an 1880s farm (Chambers Home and Ranch); and a 1907 Edwardian Country Estate. Each residence (teepee, log cabin, farm house, mansion) reflects the construction and contents of homes of those periods. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

  • Keep a lookout for frequent events at this living history sight. We've even seen a period baseball game attended by Prez Lincoln himself. Buy a membership to support this beautiful place and save...

  • Nice excursion from the Garden of the Gods. Easy walk with lots of interest. From old equipment to a barn and Indian camp. Worth the hike.

  • Such a gorgeous setting and so well maintained! Definitely check out the trails. This site is GORGEOUS in the spring when all the water is running - it's a little paradise back there.
  • This is an especially great place to visit during one of the many events they hold during the year. We've gone for the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Christmas, etc. and have always enjoyed the history and the access to nature. I recommend getting a family membership for the year and trying to get to as many of the special events as possible.
