  • We have been here a number of times. Sometimes when an activity is going on and when it is quite and no extra activities are going on. We enjoyed both visits. But if you are going with children...

  • We came here on a Sunday morning. It is a lot of fun with stage coach rides and fun shops. The sourdough bread from the grocery store was great. We would highly recommend this trip and think...

  • My grandson liked planning for gold and gems. The old fashioned candy shop is always a hit. I didn't care for the old fashioned soda flavor I tasted, but it was still fun to try some. The vintage stores, blacksmith shop, antique carriages and so forth are fun to see. There is also a horse pulled carriage, a museum, and an old fashioned photo place to enjoy. If you live far away, there is also a hotel. It is a great day trip.
  • Such a cute place! Definitely family-friendly. Kids can dig for gold when you enter and learn history when they explore. People dress in old fashioned clothing (employees) which makes it more fun. I had a great cup of coffee at one of the places, a raspberry white chocolate mocha, and it was delicious! I don’t remember the name of the shop unfortunately. I’d go back! :)
