Columbus Botanical Garden Reviews
Small gardens beautifully kept. Small farm house to look round which is good to get out of the heat for a bit. Followed by a woodland walk which can be as short or long as you wish.plenty of places to... more »
We took our small children here around Valentine's Day. There were so many flowers in bloom already, the walk was lovely (difficult with an umbrella stroller), and there was a clean bathroom available... more »
This place is a breath of fresh air!!! I grew up with an appreciation of planting flowers and gardening through both my Mother and her Mother. There is a Camellia garden that has every color camellia that you can think of!! In a beautiful garden such as this, I find peaceful calmness. When we were there, a caterer was setting up for a wedding and from what I saw; it was going to be a wedding to remember!! This is a must see for everyone!!
Visited this lovely, free of charge (donation box available) botanical garden in mid-February. The camellias were beginning to bloom as well as the daffodils. The following week they were probably in full bloom. It was a cold day, but it was refreshing to walk among the paths to admire the many different varieties of camellias that are planted in the garden. There were some fountains and swings among the winding path that gave additional variety to a beautiful walk. A lovely place for photos (there is a barn for a background), and I would like to return to see the changes in the plants over the seasons and to visit the house on the property. I believe dogs are welcome on the paths, and children would enjoy the outdoors here as well.
