National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center Reviews
I am a combat veteran, a student of military history, and a dad to a toddler. My family’s visit to the infantry museum was long overdue, considering our close proximity. Foremost, the museum staff and... more »
After the Turning Blue ceremony, we decided to visit the museum. Quite a bit to go through. Make sure you have time if you want to see everything. It was really cool to see the history of our infantry... more »
So much history in one place, bravery, courage, honor, valor, sacrifices, and the service of selfless men and women that gave some and others gave all. As a proud Army veteran myself, I salute to each one of you and thank you for your service to this great nation. God bless the United States Armed Forces and the USA! This place has a restaurant on the second floor, the gift store on the first floor, a small indoor simulated shooting range, the movie theater, and lots of spots for great picture memories. The back field is used to celebrate the new soldiers graduation from basic training. I recommend that you take an entire day or arrange a field trip, wear comfortable shoes and please bring a donation to drop on the box at the entrance. Donations are always needed and volunteers too. Another way to help is by donating a brick either to honor a family member, a veteran, a friend or to become a long lasting sponsor/supporter. Also, there's a hotel across the parking lot and plenty of nature to admire. And if you feel adventurous, there's a golf place near the museum on the back road. If you enjoyed this review, please make it known, share it with your family and friends. Thank you and have a blessed day. Don't forget to click LIKE on this review!
What a pleasant surprise! This is an incredibly good Museum and I am amazed at after all the times that I had been to Columbus I had never heard of it. If you are in the area I highly recommend making a trip here, you will be glad that you did. The museum depicts all of the wars and major conflicts Through the eyes of the Infantry. They do an excellent job showing history this way. All of the displays are top quality and there are lots of really cool artifacts to look at. The Museum is very big. You could easily spend a few hours here and probably not even see it all. If you are going to be in the Columbus area I highly recommend making a visit to this wonderful Museum.
