  • Really enjoyed our visit to the park and museum. Very nice! Extremely reasonable entry fee, and well worth it! Museum set up very nicely. Displays/ very informative. Docent very informative too. Warm and welcoming. Ample parking for all sizes of vehicles. Easy in and out. Always wanted to visit Columbus NM.
  • A wonderful overnight for us on our trip. This town is where Pancho Villa made his raid on the US late one night in March 1916. It later became the first US military air base and there are several remnants of the buildings in the park. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms are clean and tidy and while the sites don't have sewer, there is a dump station on your way out. We plan to return.
