  • Just off Route 81 near Concordia, find the remnants of a Nazi POW camp from WWII. There's a museum that is sometimes open, or just park and see the guard tower that's still standing by the road...  more »

  • CALL AHEAD!!! You can actually get a tour of the museum if you call the Cloud County Tourism Bureau in advance. I wish we had know this. I would have liked to learn more about this lesser known bit of WWII history.
  • Small but well maintained museum. Interesting history and easy location to find. Worth a hour if travel through Concordia KS.
