  • We went in July and made butter. We didn’t use milk from the cow on the farm. We used heavy whipping cream* much more kid friendly. After we made our own milk by shaking mason jars they let us wander around the farm. They do everything there. The people running the farm are very knowledgeable and friendly. We had an amazing experience. It’s wonderful to see a different way of living. A way of living that so many of our parents experienced living in this area. Can’t wait for Tobacco day!
  • Absolutely fascinating! They actually run the farm, growing crops, processing them, and sometimes selling them in the gift shop. Very kind, helpful staff. We could only stay so long, but we could've spent longer. We will be back!
