  • We love it here HOWEVER it’s NOT OPEN NOW! Check their website before you go to see if it’s open. Today we went for a hike at the grounds and on the hiking path. Disappointed we couldn’t go in.

  • This place is incredible! As soon as you enter the grounds, you feel a deep peace. The monks are so warm, friendly, and prayerful. You'll feel like you are on holy ground. The church, the store...

  • A lovely, peaceful place to walk, sit, meditate, enjoy the outdoors. There is parking access to the PATH nearby, as well as a gift shop, bakery and small museum about the history of the property. Regardless of your religious persuasion, there is something to glean here at this welcoming facility.
  • We’ve wanted to stop by here many times, but because we aren’t Catholic, we hesitated, not knowing what to expect. I very much regret hesitating now, it’s such a lovely and inviting space. We visited the visitors center, the museum (watch the video, totally worth the 30 minutes!) the gift store and the cafe. In every space there were monks working along lay people, the feeling was just so serene, and comfortable. It was raining the day were stopped by, so we couldn’t walk over to the church, or the retreat buildings, but this weekend we are going back.
