On our way to Beartooth pass , we saw this firetower WAAAAY up on the mountain top...I'm sooo glad we turned in to check it out. Its a fairly good climb, probably 2!/2 miles and steep in some places.... more »

Why they list this as Cooke City I am guessing it is because it is the closes town, but by no means is it right near town. It is off the Beartooth Highway. If it is a n ice day it is a good one way... more »

Awesome place to check out along the Beartooth Highway. Million dollar views and the volunteer group working there is great to interact with.

what a lookout. we have met the locals in there, they were very kind...the 360° view was amazing, but you need a sunny day for that...this place is worth to stop on your way to Beartooth highway :)
