Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery, Coos Bay

#15 of 15 in Historic Sites in Oregon Coast
Cemetery · Hidden Gem · Historic Site
The Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery was dedicated by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in 1891. It was the primary cemetery for the Coos Bay-North Bend area until about 1920. Marshfield High School students and interested community members have volunteered countless hours to improve the condition of the Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery. They have also recorded transcriptions, obtained obituaries, and compiled a significant amount of reference material. For additional information or to make corrections please contact us. You may check the updated list on our website for a list of burials that also indicates whether a headstone exists and if we have an obituary available. We continue to gather information and are most grateful to family members or other researchers that share additional information with us. We, in turn, are happy to share the information we have available.
