With 126 trails for all skill levels, Copper Mountain is heaven for skiers and snowboarders. The resort's reputation was proven in 1976 when it hosted the Skiing World Cup and more recently when the U.S. Ski Team started using it as their training center. The area features 22 lifts, snow guns in case of low cover, and an indoor training facility. You can rent quality equipment that's suitable to your needs, skill, and age. Small kids have a special area where they can play, and the mountain also offers tubing lanes and a skating rink. In the summer, the whole area transforms into a perfect setting for hiking, mountain biking, and golf. Make reservations and find discount deals online. Great time for family skiing/snowboarding. We are blue/green skiers and the conditions were perfect. Lovely resort with very nice staff. Would go again.

I went to Copper Mountain for the first time last week, and I skied in Colorado for the first time ever! I really enjoyed my time here, the mountain itself is big and has options for all skiers. Since I am newer to skiing I decided I would sign up for an adult group lesson on the mountain. This was the BEST decision I could’ve made. My instructor was amazing, he took us from skiing on the tiny ski school slope to (mostly) confidently skiing a run with all the rest of the skiers! If you have any chance to request an instructor/choose, Jeff is amazing! All the ski instructors seemed to be very knowledgeable but Jeff really stood out to me. Also, the snow itself was very nice when I went, it wasn’t icy and it seemed well kept. This mountain has a LOT of options for food and drink, I was mainly in the middle and west villages but I’m sure that applies to east village as well. Since I have a small appetite I got a kids meal and for me, that was just the right amount of food. And as ski resorts go, it wasn’t too overpriced. It was definitely a bit expensive, but not horrible. I really enjoyed my time here at Copper and I can’t wait to come back next season when I get an Ikon pass!

Had a great time visiting Copper mountain in the summer. We bought the family pass for the adventure park and had an awesome time. From the coaster ride, go karts, bumper boats, zip line, and scenic lift ride we spent a whole day there and had an awesome time. I will definitely have to come back to Copper mountain someday in the winter, was real impressed with the place!
