With 126 trails for all skill levels, Copper Mountain is heaven for skiers and snowboarders. The resort's reputation was proven in 1976 when it hosted the Skiing World Cup and more recently when the U.S. Ski Team started using it as their training center. The area features 22 lifts, snow guns in case of low cover, and an indoor training facility. You can rent quality equipment that's suitable to your needs, skill, and age. Small kids have a special area where they can play, and the mountain also offers tubing lanes and a skating rink. In the summer, the whole area transforms into a perfect setting for hiking, mountain biking, and golf. Make reservations and find discount deals online. Really fun mountain and good trail layout. Most of the greens are concentrated in one area, so easy for beginners to practice without worry about running into too difficult of a run. As someone who enjoys blues & the occasional black, was nice to have those areas of the mountain sparsely crowded. What's great about Copper is that the runs are LONGGGGG. Make sure to take the Rendezvous & Sierra lifts for some bowl-like skiing even if you're more on the beginner/intermediate side. Beautiful!

What a pleasant surprise. Huge mountain with lots of choices. We loved the bubble lift that had the wind protector. The EV chargers that were free (and free parking) were amazing. The only complaint was that there were only two. If A-basin can do 8 in their tiny lot, Copper could definitely step the game up!
